About Autumn Iman

Autumn Iman was created in 2018 after being fired from my job. I was depressed, lost and insecure. I knew the work force wasn't for me but i wasn't entirely sure what i wanted to do. With all this new found free time I racked up many, many hours on Youtube. I happened to stumble across a video of someone making soaps.  It was Anne-Marie, the owner of Brambleberry!

 

I was just starting my self care journey so the idea of making my OWN soap absolutely amazed me! From there I got the idea to sell my soaps and I lived happily ever after as a millionaire...SIKE. I spent my last $200 on soap supplies, realized I got all the wrong stuff. Cried because I was broke, had to move back home. Then I started again.

 

One thing I've never done was give up on myself. I think resilience just comes with the entrepreneurial spirit. I did a whole year of straight research before I spent my entire first check from my new job. Which was not even $200 dollars. I made my first real batch of soap and it came out TERRIBLE. If you were wondering if i cried again... the answer is yes! So much. I also kept trying and kept getting better every time.

 

I did my first festival and was so surprised at how well my products were received! How naturally I fell into the roll of salesman and CEO. This felt real. This felt solid. THIS held my very short attention span and it's been holding it ever since. It has taught me how to love myself through every season. Job loss, grief, romantic relationships. Needless to say, I am forever grateful for being fired back in 2018!
